To our community in Dfoun, their families and friends, and all honorable benefactors,

The reconstruction of the church of Notre Dame in our beloved Dfoun is one of the main reasons to prompt for the return of the habitants. It is a drive to rebuild a community that is in urgent need for its fellows, a center of charity, gathering and faith in the bright future of the Lebanese village and its deeply rooted heritage.

To achieve this aim, the Wakef committee, has developed a plan where every person willing to contribute to the works shall purchase the equivalent cost of a certain amount of building stones according to his/her means and eagerness. The reconstruction of the church requires a total 21,000 building stones.
